Just been on BBC Radio Northampton on the John Griff show today (Friday 11th Dec) programme 2pm -4pm
the interview starts at about 24 minutes in. John is a great interviewer who really puts you at your ease. Talked about photography and creativity, theAlzheimer's Society talking point forum, and the step-up at Northampton Jesus Centre All the money from the sale of photos, mounted prints and cards is being divided between the these 2 charities. Towcester Library which is hosting the exhibition is a valuable Northamptonshire resource and the friendly staff make it a joy to go there. There is also a cafe in the building where you can go for a cuppa or a meal making a visit to see the exhibition even more enjoyable.I talked to about stroke recovery and how going to Weight Watchers UK has helped me. You can see some of my work on my website creativesarah.weebly.com I have been dieting and losing weight and trying to get fitter so I have decided to do
It was great fun attending the Blisworth Canal Festival and I really appreciated being offered a table in the Village Hall.
It was a great opportunity to met new people, see old friends and to share my vision as well as The talk has gone well 25 people there the exhibition is down
What next! Today I am putting together a memory book about me ready for my talk on Friday
Seems appropriate Last night John kindly helped me get my video online after my futile attempts but I decided if it encouraged one person it was worth the effort!
Hope you enjoy it its on the video page Hope it blesses you as mu After a good morning at the exhibition (following seeing my consultant )
i managed to get a lift home and unfortunately dropped my rucsac, inside which was my camera in its padded bag. I usually wear it strapped to me. So we made an emergency trip to the camera repair shop and I am awaiting a phone call, hope it wont be too expensive. The good news was that the guy who owns the shop knows me and said he'd do his best to get it fixed ASAP. Gutted or what? |
